Dr. Vijaya Sudha

In loving memory

Dr. Vijaya Sudha

Founder, Dr. Sudha Ministries

Dr. Vijaya Sudha was a doctor whose life became a powerful testimony of faith and God’s faithfulness.

In 2003, she was diagnosed with a rare cancer and was given only four to five months to live. She chose to place her faith in God and underwent surgery. During her recovery in the ICU, she experienced a profound encounter with God and felt called to dedicate her life to His service.

She went on to begin her music ministry, writing nearly 200 Telugu Christian songs inspired by her journey of faith. Through her songs, testimony, medical camps, prayers, and ministry, she became a blessing to many.

Despite undergoing several major surgeries in the following years, she continued to worship and serve God. During her final days in March 2012, even as her body grew weak, she continued humming songs of praise and praying for her family.

Before her passing, she encouraged her husband, Pastor Rajendra Babu, to become a pastor and serve God. Today, he continues that calling as the Pastor in Charge. Her son, Pastor Ron Samuel, serves as the Worship Pastor, and her daughter, Dr. Esther Praisy, continues to serve in the medical field of cancer care.

Dr. Vijaya Sudha went to be with the Lord on April 10, 2012, but her legacy continues through the lives she touched, the songs she wrote, and the ministry she entrusted to the next generation.

Her life remains a testimony of faith, worship, and a life fully surrendered to God.
